School District boundaries in Pennsylvania from Dept. of Education district maps
Purpose:
Public information and support for transportation planning, design and development.

The USER shall indemnify, save harmless, and, if requested, defend those parties involved with the development
and distribution of this data, their officers, agents, and employees from and against any suits, claims, or actions for
injury, death, or property damage arising out of the use of or any defect in the FILES or any accompanying
documentation. Those parties involved with the development and distribution excluded any and all implied
warranties, including warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and makes no warranty or
representation, either express or implied, with respect to the FILES or accompanying documentation, including its
quality, performance, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. The FILES and documentation are
provided "as is" and the USER assumes the entire risk as to its quality and performance. Those parties involved
with the development and distribution of this data will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or

2016-2017 enrollments for all publicly funded schools in Pennsylvania as reported by school districts, area vocational-technical schools, charter schools, intermediate units, and state operated educational facilities. Local education agencies were asked to report those students who were enrolled and attending as of October 3, 2016.

County and Statewide Totals Notes:

Statewide and county totals include counts of students attending education classes on a full-time basis outside their parents' district of residence. This data was obtained from the Bureau of Special Education (PENNDATA 2016).

Intermediate Unit and CTC Part-day enrollments are excluded from county and state totals.

Statewide and county totals are unique counts of students being educated by public Local Education Agencies. LEA and School level reports may not sum to the County and Statewide totals.

This dataset contains summary information by county on Incidents involving Drug and Alcohol reported use in Schools.
School categories are Public School, Charter, Intermediate, Vo-Tech, Non-Public and other.

For 2016 to 2019, the Population Estimates Program provides estimates of the population for the nation, states, counties, cities, and towns and intercensal housing unit estimates for the nation, states, and counties.

Data are based on a sample and are subject to sampling variability. The degree of uncertainty for an estimate arising from sampling variability is represented through the use of a margin of error. The value shown here is the 90 percent margin of error. The margin of error can be interpreted roughly as providing a 90 percent probability that the interval defined by the estimate minus the margin of error and the estimate plus the margin of error (the lower and upper confidence bounds) contains the true value. In addition to sampling variability, the ACS estimates are subject to nonsampling error (for a discussion of nonsampling variability, see ACS Technical Documentation). The effect of nonsampling error is not represented in these tables.

The 2016-2020 American Community Survey (ACS) data generally reflect the September 2018 Office of Management and Budget (OMB) delineations of metropolitan and micropolitan statistical areas. In certain instances, the names, codes, and boundaries of the principal cities shown in ACS tables may differ from the OMB delineation lists due to differences in the effective dates of the geographic entities.
