This dataset reports number of successful naloxone reversals by police officers, as self-reported by municipal police departments, Capitol Police, and Pennsylvania State police. The data is stratified by county and by year. Note that there is no legislation mandating that law enforcement report naloxone reversals to DDAP; these data represent voluntary self-reports from departments.
NA - Not applicable. No FIPS code or county code exist for Pennsylvania State Police and Capitol Police. Also, counties labelled “NA” do not have municipal police departments and are only covered by Pennsylvania State Police.

This is a monthly Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole reentrant employment status by county starting in the calendar year of January 2018 - current. Updates will be loaded monthly as they become available.

This dataset contains counts of active business registrations in Pennsylvania and is broken down by County.

ALL active business registrations in the data to include: business corporations, nonprofit corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships, limited liability limited partnerships, business trusts, land banks, municipal and other authorities.

**Due to statutory limitations in removing businesses no longer in operation from our database, this data shows a larger number of active businesses than currently exist.

This dataset contains aggregate data by ethnicity for individuals that received a COVID vaccination. Data includes counts of individuals who received a vaccine dose that provides partial coverage against the disease and counts of individuals that received a vaccine dose that provides full coverage against the disease. Suppression applies for quantities less than 5.

Data only includes information reported to PA-SIIS, the Pennsylvania Statewide Immunization Information System.

Fully Vaccinated means that the person has received the necessary number of COVID-19 vaccines at the recommended time intervals.

First Booster Doses (Administered Since August 13, 2021)

First Booster doses administered since August 13, 2021 includes vaccinations beyond the primary series administered to the suggested groups at the recommended intervals on or after 08-13-2021 following CDC guidelines. Such vaccinations are commonly called booster doses. This category also includes additional does of COVID vaccine administered on or after 08-13-2021 to immunocompromised individual at the CDC recommended interval.

Second Booster Doses (Administered Since March 29, 2022)

Second booster doses administered since March 29, 2022 includes mRNA vaccinations beyond the primary series and one additional COVIDS vaccine as a second booster dose administered on or after 03-29-2022 to individuals ages 50+ at the recommended intervals per CDC guidelines. This category also includes additional doses of mRNA COVID vaccines administered on or after 03-29-2022 to immunocompromised individual at the CDC recommended internal.

This data set includes the estimated number of individuals in Pennsylvania with Drug Use Disorder, which is an approximation for Opioid Use Disorder prevalence. The estimates are developed by applying mortality weights derived from the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics to statewide illicit drug use estimates from the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH, sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration).

This dataset contains counts of professional licensees per each licensed occupation and is broken down by County of licensee.
*Appearances of non-Pennsylvania counties in the data are due to practitioners that are either licensed to practice in Pennsylvania but live out of state or own a facility in Pennsylvania but live out of state.

**Appearances of null values in the data are due to the county field being an optional field for a license application and the county does not auto populate based on the address at this point in time.

The Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, or OVR, provides vocational rehabilitation services to help persons with disabilities prepare for, obtain, or maintain employment. OVR provides services to eligible individuals with disabilities, both directly and through a network of approved vendors. Services are provided on an individualized basis.

County level educational attainment data on the adult working aged population (25-64) by age range and gender. Data is sourced from the US Census Bureau’s American Community Survey (ACS) 5-year estimates allowing for increased statistical reliability of the data for less populated areas and small population subgroups.

This dataset summarizes the number of dependent children (less than 18 years old) removed from households due to parental drug abuse. The data indicates if the dependent children were placed in kinship care or not.
The total number of children in this data set are provided by the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey (ACS), which publishes 5 year estimates of the population. The most recent year of entries in this data set may be available before the corresponding ACS population estimates for that year are published. In that case, the data set uses values from the most recently published ACS estimates and notes the year from which those estimates are pulled. These values are updated once the Census Bureau releases the most recent estimates.”
*Kinship care refers to the care of children by relatives or, in some jurisdictions, close family friends (often referred to as fictive kin). Relatives are the preferred resource for children who must be removed from their birth parents because it maintains the children's connections with their families.
