How Medicaid serves people with disabilities

The ACAP (Adult Community Autism Program) and Adult Autism Waiver provide supports for adults with autism spectrum disorder. The Community Living Waiver, Consolidated Waiver, and P/FDS (Person/Family Directed Support) Waiver help people with developmental disabilities live more independently within their homes and communities.
Explore the visualization below for details on the number of people enrolled in the different state waivers that provide services to people with developmental disabilities. Click a county in the map to see how many are enrolled in developmental disability waivers across the selected county.
