Improve customer satisfaction with state services
“From clerks to cabinet secretaries, all of us have a role to play in making government work better for the people of Pennsylvania.”-Governor Tom Wolf
Why is this goal important?
A government that works is one that delivers an excellent customer experience. Whether they are renewing a driver's license, applying for benefits, registering a business, or accessing any of the other services that the commonwealth provides, Pennsylvanians deserve a fast, convenient, and personalized experience from state government.
What are we working on to reach this goal?
Governor
Wolf is committed to delivering the highest quality services to the people of
Pennsylvania. He launched an
ambitious initiative that will improve customer experience by making it easier for Pennsylvanians to connect
with state agencies and services, while protecting their privacy and personal
information. Motivated by his first-hand experience as a business owner, the
governor cut
through red tape by
establishing the new PA
Business One-Stop Shop,
which consolidates on a single website,
information on starting and growing a new business in Pennsylvania. The
governor has also signed historic legislation to modernize
Pennsylvania’s archaic liquor system and improve the customer experience by allowing gas stations to sell beer and grocery
stores to sell wine, as well as increasing hours at state stores and legalizing
shipments of wine to people’s homes. Governor Wolf's online
voter registration (OVR) site
makes it easier and more secure for citizens to register to vote and update
their existing registrations. Efforts to modernize our elections have been met
with great success in the new online mail
ballot application,
released in September 2019.
